- Originally, it was a magazine offering support, emotional advice, life stories and 'hot blokes', and that concept has remained the same only with more fashion and more celebrities.
- The following article on The Guardian website outlines the downfalls of More magazine, comparing it to that of an embarrassing mother. It makes the point that most girls can access the advice they provide on the internet through forums and googling, therefore why is there a need for the magazine itself?
- If there was a relaunch of the magazine, it could be an idea to stay away from the concept of 'knocking girls down and building them back up' through patronizing articles, and instead focus on positive, uplifting pieces, slightly altering the style of More magazine, but in a way that would generate more custom and interest.
